Hear to Learn, LLC at local conferences

Out & About: Hear to Learn in the Community

April has been a busy and exciting month for the Hear to Learn team! We had the privilege of attending two wonderful conferences, connecting with peers, families, and professionals who share our passion for supporting children with hearing differences.

At both events, we were thrilled to have a booth dedicated to spreading the word about Educational Audiology Services. One highlight that generated a lot of buzz, laminated familiar sound audiograms! Speech-language pathologists, parents, and providers were drawn to this simple but powerful tool, which allows you to plot a child’s audiogram on a graph to get a clearer picture of their access to everyday sounds.

Some of our favorite moments at the NH Speech Language and Hearing Association were the conversations that spilled past our booth. SLPs, audiologists, and educational audiologists exchanging ideas on how to better support students? That’s what it’s all about.

The Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Family Resource Roundup was an absolute highlight of our week. There is something truly special about being in a room full of families, providers, and advocates who all share a common purpose. Watching peers find each other, swap stories, and build new connections was a reminder of just how powerful community can be. We were also thrilled to put Hearing Assistive Technology into action at the event itself, providing soundfield systems to support auditory access throughout the day’s activities.

We left both conferences feeling energized, grateful, and full of ideas. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, took resources, or shared a conversation with us. We can’t wait to keep building these connections!
