Founder/Educational Audiologist
Dr. Rachel Parkington holds a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D) from The University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Communication Disorders from The University of Massachusetts. Dr. Parkington is actively engaged in various national and state organizations. She has served as the President of the New Hampshire Academy of Audiology and is currently the President-Elect of the Educational Audiology Association. Her contributions extend to the New Hampshire Commission for Deafness and Hearing Loss, the New Hampshire Deaf Child’s Bill of Rights Committee, and the Educational Audiology Association Advocacy Committee. In 2015, Dr. Parkington founded Hear to Learn, a venture dedicated to providing Educational Audiology Services to students across New Hampshire. She remains committed to advocating for and expanding these essential services throughout the state. In her free time, Dr. Parkington enjoys spending quality moments with her family and exploring new hiking trails, paddle-boarding spots, and adventurous destinations across New England.
Educational Audiologist
Dr. Kerrie Nesbitt earned her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physiology from McGill University and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Syracuse University. Dr. Nesbitt worked in clinical practice for 7 years before joining the nationally recognized team of Educational Audiologists at CiTi BOCES in Upstate NY. Motivated by the opportunity to ensure access to communication for all students, Dr. Nesbitt joined Hear to Learn in 2019 when her family relocated to the granite state. She is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Outside of work, Dr. Nesbitt enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, where they are often found outdoors on the ski hill, hiking in the mountains, running between soccer games, or swimming in the lake.
Educational Audiologist
Dr. Jennifer Dionne received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Penn State University, a master’s degree in Audiology from Ithaca College and a doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. Before joining Hear To Learn, Dr. Dionne worked for over 20 years in an ear, nose and throat clinic where she specialized in pediatric hearing loss, adult and child hearing aid fittings, auditory processing disorder, and adult cochlear implants. She feels grateful to work at Hear To Learn where she can focus on what means the most to her – auditory access for school-aged children. In her free time, Dr. Dionne can be found traveling with her husband, going to Denver to visit her son in college, working out, taking in a concert, or just relaxing
Educational Audiologist
Dr. Maura Brockelbank earned her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Connecticut. She is a graduate of the Connecticut Leadership and Education of Individuals with Neurological and Related Disabilities (LEND) program with an additional pediatric audiology supplement. She is licensed by the State of New Hampshire. Outside of work, Dr. Brockelbank enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and rescue dog, Riley. She loves attending concerts, being outside, and reading in her spare time.

Dr. Caitlyn Paulson earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from East Carolina University. She is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has a passion for ensuring school-aged children with hearing needs have educational supports. Outside of work, Dr. Paulson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, where they are often found playing board games, swimming in the lake, and enjoying live music.

Dr. Ellen Deres earned her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and Spanish from the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining Hear To Learn, Dr. Deres worked in both a private practice audiology office, as well as at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. In these settings, Dr. Deres has specialized in pediatric and adult hearing assessment, pediatric and adult hearing aid fittings, and adult cochlear implants. She is licensed to practice audiology in New Hampshire and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). When not at work, Dr. Deres enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exercising, and baking.

Dr. Briana Horgan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences from the University of Vermont and a doctorate in Audiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Horgan has worked in clinical settings for over 12 years, including more than 8 years in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she specialized in pediatric hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and cochlear implants. She is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In her free time, Dr. Horgan enjoys traveling, hiking in the White Mountains, being by the ocean, and spending time with her family and pets.
