About Hear to Learn
Dedicated to providing communication access to all children across New Hampshire.

Our Story
Founded in 2015 by Dr. Rachel Parkington, Hear to Learn was born from a passion for ensuring every child has equal access to communication in educational settings. What started as a vision to fill the gap in Educational Audiology services in New Hampshire has grown into a comprehensive team of dedicated professionals.
Our team of educational audiologists works hand-in-hand with schools, families, and early intervention programs to identify hearing and listening challenges, provide assistive technology solutions, and ensure that no child is left behind due to unaddressed communication needs.
Empowering Students Through Access
Hear to Learn is a professional educational audiology company that provides services to school districts and families for children aged 0–22 years. Our audiologists maintain current licensure to practice in the state of New Hampshire and hold clinical doctorates in audiology (Au.D) from accredited universities.
Hear to Learn addresses the practice areas identified within IDEA for audiologists:
- Screening, assessment, amplification, habilitation, counseling, and prevention (34CFR300.34(c)(1))
- Assistive technology and assistive technology services (34CFR300.5-.6 & C)
- Routine checking of amplification devices and external components of surgically implanted medical devices worn by children in school (34CFR300.113)
Our Mission
To promote and expand educational audiology services throughout New Hampshire. By keeping current with the latest pediatric audiology research and implementing evidence-based practices, we strive to enhance our ability to deliver optimal care and support to students. This dedication not only improves educational outcomes but also fosters inclusivity and empowerment within our communities. Together, we aim to bridge gaps in service availability and ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive inside and outside the classroom.
